I will call it a rumour, but I have been told by numerous people (that know and work along employees of a local business) that a deal as already been made to sell the Molly Stark Property to a local business (we all know who)for the purpose of a gravel pit. This is why the commissioners are pushing to hold the auction immediately. They need to hide the fact that a deal has been already made and they are using a public auction to hide the corruption taking place. Of course, this is all speculation, but it will be interesting to see if these so called rumors are just that or the truth. Why else would the commissioners turn down an opportunity to preserve the land and work with the tax payers of Stark County? Their ability to do so may have been already taken away. I sure hope the commissioners make me a liar! |

Now is the time to contact the county commissioners if you have not done so already. According to the article in the Repository, they are only giving the community 1 week! |

Corruption!?!?!?! In Stark County??? (GASP!) If your REALLY wondering, let me save you the trouble...YES, there IS corruption in Stark County... All the way from the commissioners, to the Stark County Prosecutor, to the Stark County Sheriff and all the way to the Attorney General's Office. (Yeah, even after the LAST Attorney general was impeached, its STILL corrupt.) Now for the good news, ELECTIONS are coming up!! |
