My name is Giulio Cherubini, I live in Roma, Italy. I'm writing here because I hope someone will help me in finding some of my relatives that live(d) in Canton, Ohio.
I was unable to contact none of them, but I know for sure there are someone of them still living.I am trying to rebuild my ancestor's genealogic tree, Cherubini family, originated from a small village near Roma: Onano.
My grandfather had a brother, Genesio Cherubini, who married Maria Ciongo (or Cianco); they had a daughter, Mary, and emigrated in USA in 1910. They had also other sons, Donald, Joseph and Richard, who lived in Canton. So they were all cousins of my father.
Mary married Anthony Polverini. Mary unfortunately died in January 2006, and a Holy Mass was celebrated in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
She had one son (Salvatore Polverini) and one daughter (Rita Polverini, married Zavarelli), I believe they still live in Canton.
If you know any Cherubini or Polverini of Canton I will greatly appreciate it.
